Don't cut run short!

Another running joke.

One man's hobby was running, he spent all his weekends on the park trails, paying no attention to weather. One Sunday, early in the morning, he went to the park as usual. It was still dark, cold and raining, so he decided to return back to his house. He came in, went to his bedroom, undressed and laid near his wife. "What terrible weather today honey," he said to her. "Yes" she replied "but my idiot husband still went running!"

  1. Jokes based on reality are the funniest.

I said on my blog that wind is the main thing to avoid if you should try the 'slow test'. If it's particularly hot or humid, that could have an effect (slow the time) if an earlier test has been done in cool weather. The main thing is to have a flat course and pick a HR that's controllable by slight adjustments in speed. 'Normal' running pace HR is about right, which for me at the moment is about 5:45/km.

  2. Runners that don't get out there in rain, hail or shine....are just walkers in disguise :)
