A running blog, of sorts
Training looks good. Good luck. Run well.
Go for it! You should be ready for a good run.
Taper weeks are over-rated ... buggar. That one period I was able to be lazy and not feel guilty about it. You're probably right. All the best this weekend. I'd give you some advice but who am I kidding. I will say this. The MET service is always wrong. It'll be fine with light winds. There you go.
Must say, you're looking as fit as a fiddle young Scott. With Mark's forecast on the money I reckon you're a great chance to beat the PB. I'm so confident I've put the Malvern Star on it (and you know how tight I am - only bet on a sure thing). Keep your feet up the day before. Carb up. Don't eff up the early pacing (by running 3:40 ks, which would feel very easy). Gradually get down to your 3:52s and you'll be fine.
Just this minute checked the forecast again ... Fine with light winds. What did I say! What did I say! Good luck tomorrow.
Hope everything wet well Scott.
Thanks for asking Grellan. Just so anyone who's interested is wanting to know, it didn't go well. Disappointed but as usual moving on. 2:58:28. Will try to put up a video blog post this afternoon/evening. Cheers.
