Yokohama Marathon (2 weeks to go).


  1. Good afternoon Scott. I got a chance to watch your 2 most recent videos while I was waiting for Mum's cats to get their needles yesterday.
    I think you're in the perfect position to break the PB and get into the low 2:40s at the same time. Nothing like a string of consistent weeks with the long runs in there. Added to that, hitting the start line at race weight and overcoming the exercise induced asthma problem.
    In my view, the only thing you need to be careful of is that your dacks have tight enough elastic in them - don't want to be running the race with one hand holding them up, or worse still, bum-crack showing. Anyway, enjoy the next 2 weeks - looking forward to your pre-race blog.

  2. Is it just me or am I sensing an underlying confidence that points to something very special and soon. Although you have a few niggles, you tended to focus more on the things going well for you in the vlog and that’s a great headspace to be in. Positive, relaxed and for crying out loud not overthinking things in the days leading up to the race. You might want to look at the elastic in your shorts though now that Ewen has jinxed that part of your kit.
