Ok, that rocks. It's funny to think that we get to know each other through the written word but have no idea how we would sound in person! Great idea - if my current technology uptake is anything to go by I should be posting video some time before 2050.

If you're forgetting to say things Scott, maybe do what I do, have a list of dot points to cover in the video (works for my lectures...).

  3. Oh Scott, the vids are fantastic!!! You may well out-Plu Plu :-)

Its funny, but after so much written communication you wouldn't think that something as 'simple' as that would make us (I'm sure Im speaking for everyone) seem so much closer to you.

Thank you so very much for the good luck wishes. I'm sure when I am out there running on Sunday thinking back to these messages will certainly brighten my day.

  4. Yeah, that was great. I even got a mention. Thanks! Do you remember 2P's famous "how to" posts with the Garmin? I think you owe us a "How to make You Tube videos with your web cam". This would be a really cool thing for me to do for the family back home, as even the Ma and Da can be dragged in front of a computer screen now and then.

Hey Scott, you may not be able to be at the GC, but I just found out that it will be broadcast in Japan in a special show. Apparently it'll be on the TBS network on July 15. Hope you can get it!

  6. That is a great idea Scott and it looks as though you may have started something. Look forward to seeing some more. This take was much better in picture quality and sound.

  7. Scott:
It worked well. I like the idea of seeing you and hearing you. It have no IT capability so I am very impressed. Great to put a moving face and voice to the still picture.

Thank you for your continued reading of my Blogg and you wonderful encouraging comments. I think you maybe right provided it all goes right on the day I maybe closer to 3 than 3.30 - I always enjoy the challenge.

Now just post up a 'How to it' and more might try utube on their Blogg.

  11. That was better - except for the smile ;) The volume was better too although sound looked slightly out of sync with the video.

Keep 'em short. Edit if you have to - could have cut out 'de Castello' and put in 'de Castella' ;) Under 5 minutes is good. Plu had one 10 minute youtube of driving around Penno! He did one of Gold Coast lead-up but I don't think he's uploaded it yet.

I had an email from 2P. He's OK. Was ready to run again after the shin thing but buggered his heel trying to snap some firewood karate style. Should be back in a few weeks, but is also flat chat with work.
