Free running
Not too much going on with me but I did find a good clip of "free running" I'll post. Might give Ewen something else to do with his "walking frame". And I wonder could this be what Tesso has been up to on her "week off".
Actually I have been trying a few, small, jumps. Like, I was practicing jumping backwards onto a box about half a meter high. I fell over many times before finally being able to do it. I'm really not good at this type of thing at all but I'd like to be. If you want to see another good example of "free running" take a look at the opening scene of the lastest James Bond movie, it is fantastic!

Hey Scott, sorry its been so long since I checked in, but I just read your marathon report and am in awe. Sounds like a really gutsy effort and a fantastic time. Great that you had some company for most of the course and managed to catch up afterwards as well. It all sounds so great, even if it was difficult... You triumphed in the face of adversity, thats what makes it all so fabulous and keeps us coming back for more!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, you're an inspiration.
MAR.
Looks like you need some special spider man shoes to pull those stunts off. Don't damage anything!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap!
ReplyDeleteDon't try this at home kids. Run marathons instead.
I've done some runs like that - but never on purpose :-)
ReplyDeleteThey make it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteBugger! They've stolen the warm-up I was planning on using for next year's 6'.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of Casino Royale was when the baddie jumped through a hole while 007 just went straight through the wall above. Practise that one a few times Scott - just before your first 48 hour race.
