I think high mileage can work well (140-160+) but there's a point of diminishing returns - also risky in terms of adequate recovery, which is difficult when working full-time. After all, fitness improves during the rest period of a training schedule.Ewenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01093209634556111656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34739089.post-34140816352159748192014-10-14T20:48:22.374+09:002014-10-14T20:48:22.374+09:00After about 5 or 6 years of running on a regular b...After about 5 or 6 years of running on a regular basis Mark. Not sure how I did it now, looking back, was working full time and had a young family. Guess I just got it in my head that high mileage was the only way to a PB. I think it is/was but it comes with great risks to ones long term progress.Samurai Runninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12295160713705142193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34739089.post-22099612911959513462014-10-14T18:22:40.275+09:002014-10-14T18:22:40.275+09:00Building nicely Scott. If you survive it, I may consider a less painful version.Running Raggedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13024246151254432253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34739089.post-12276865517405436962014-10-13T13:28:28.061+09:002014-10-13T13:28:28.061+09:00Glad things are going well.
